December Round-Up
A look at the main headlines from December 2023, as the TBL list is revealed and more drivers are confirmed…
1 December:
The CTCRC Classic Saloon and Historic Touring Car Championship will join the support package at Croft in July, with races planned for the Pre-’66 championship featuring cars like the Mini Cooper and Lotus Cortina.
8 December:
Mikey Doble will return for a second season with Power Maxed Racing after agreeing a new deal with the Vauxhall squad. Doble showed impressive pace at times in his rookie season, most notably at Silverstone where he scored the only non-NAPA Racing pole position.
15 December:
The TBL list for 2024 has revealed the departure of Team HARD following plenty of winter speculation. All 27 licences have been handed out although it remains to be seen if all are used – with at least one team far from confirmed.

15 December:
Restart Racing has confirmed Chris Smiley as its first driver for 2024. Smiley spent two seasons with the team in TCR UK, winning the title in 2022, and will be at the wheel of one of the ex-Team HARD Cupra Leons.
19 December:
Jake Hill is the first driver confirmed by West Surrey Racing for 2024. Hill will once again race under the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport banner as he bids to build on his best season to date in 2023 – finishing third in the points with six wins.
