This list currently features every driver to have raced in the main class of the BTCC from 1995 onwards.
If a driver also raced in the Production Class – such as Paul O’Neill and Gordon Shedden – then race starts are noted down but not wins, points etc scored in the class.
Drivers who only raced in the Production Class and not in the main class are not included – Production Class information can be found HERE
Laps led data is only available from 1998 onwards so any driver to have led a lap prior to that date will not have the information recorded.
For those drivers who competed before 1991 and the start of the single class-era, race wins are only assigned for the overall race win and not the class victory. Some weekends would have included races where different classes competed together – so one meeting may have two winners to cover Class A/B and Class C/D (for example).
Drivers are ranked by championship points scored in the main championship only, with drivers level on points ranked by race starts. Any driver to have competed in the Production Class has race starts included, but not points.
